About The Fetch
For the Modern Pet Owner
The Fetch is a Singapore-based pet health publication and veterinary directory. We write about pet health, nutrition, veterinary care, and the pet industry. Our focus is on what matters to owners in Singapore. Alongside our editorial coverage, we operate a directory of veterinary clinics and practitioners throughout the country.
The publication was founded in April 2026 by Edvarcl Heng, after his experience caring for his own dog through palliative treatment surfaced significant gaps in accessible, accurate pet health media. The Fetch exists to close that gap — combining peer-reviewed research with practical, owner-focused writing.
Editorial principles
The Fetch operates on three foundational principles:
Every claim must be traceable to an authoritative source. Peer-reviewed veterinary research, teaching institutions, regulatory bodies, and established references are used for all factual statements.
Practical guidance over generic advice. Articles are written for owners making real decisions — what to feed, when to see a vet, and how to interpret a symptom.
Editorial independence. Commercial relationships do not influence editorial decisions, conclusions, or framing.
