About

Dr Domingo Casamian-Sorrosal graduated from the University of Zaragoza and is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in both Companion Animal Internal Medicine and Cardiology, as well as an EBVS and RCVS specialist in small animal cardiology. After graduating, Dr Casamian-Sorrosal moved to the United Kingdom to complete an internship at the Animal Medical Center in Manchester, subsequently obtaining RCVS certificates in small animal medicine and veterinary cardiology across two large referral hospitals. In 2006, he joined the University of Bristol as a resident, completing successive residency programmes in small animal internal medicine and veterinary cardiology over seven years. He has since served as head of cardiology at the University of Bristol Small Animal Hospital, Southfields Veterinary Specialists, and the Catholic University of Valencia, and holds the directorship of the ECVIM-CA European residency programmes in both cardiology and internal medicine. He now practises at a 24-hour emergency hospital in Singapore. His clinical interests centre on advanced echocardiography, interventional surgery, and the interaction between cardiac and respiratory conditions. He completed a PhD examining the cardiovascular effects of Leishmania infantum, and has published extensively across scientific journals and book chapters in cardiology and respiratory medicine, receiving research grants and lecturing at national and international conferences.
