Dr Naomi Shimizu

Dr Naomi Shimizu graduated from the École Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort and is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons and a de facto Diplomate of the Asian College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr Shimizu began her residency in small animal surgery at the University of Liège in 2015, obtaining her diplomate status in 2021. She subsequently held positions at the University of Bristol and Southfields Veterinary Specialists before joining a 24-hour emergency hospital as a full-time surgeon. She is concurrently undertaking a PhD with the University of Liège on bladder and prostatic tumours in dogs. Her surgical interests encompass oncological, urinary, and vascular surgery, alongside a broad range of soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures.
