
Dr Nicholas Woo
Dr Nicholas Woo graduated from the University of Queensland. Dr Woo completed two one-year internships at Queensland Veterinary Specialists and Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre, where he developed a clinical interest in small animal surgery and oncology and gained experience at Australia's only veterinary facility equipped with a megavoltage linear accelerator for cancer radiation treatment. He returned to Singapore in 2011 to join a busy referral practice as a consultant surgeon and practice manager, and founded Advanced Vetcare in 2017, equipping it with 24-hour and critical care facilities. His clinical interests encompass oncology, reconstructive surgery, orthopaedics, total hip replacement, spinal surgery, and microvascular surgery. He has served as vice president of the Singapore Veterinary Association and chaired the local host committee for the 2018 World Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress, and remains an active contributor to continuing veterinary education. He holds membership by examination in the surgery chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, obtained in 2011.
