Dr Russell Chandler

Dr Russell Chandler graduated from the University of Bristol and is an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Orthopaedics. Dr Chandler spent four years in Hong Kong, where he established the territory's first orthopaedic and spinal surgery service, before founding Alphavet Veterinary Centre and Alphavet Referrals in South Wales, which he ran for more than two decades. His clinical focus encompasses fracture management, orthopaedic surgery, multimodal osteoarthritis management, and regenerative medicine for musculoskeletal conditions. He holds an RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedics, a Master of Science in Orthopaedic Engineering, and a Master of Science in Stem Cells and Regeneration.
