Dr Stephen Hugh

Dr Stephen Hugh graduated from University College Dublin. Dr Hugh began his career in mixed practice in rural Ireland, providing care to horses, cattle, sheep, and household pets for five years before relocating to Australia to focus on small animal medicine, where he developed an interest in birds, reptiles, and exotic small animals. He subsequently gained experience in emergency practice before spending six years in the Middle East, working across a wide variety of clinical cases. His clinical interests span dermatology, dentistry, medicine, surgery, and ophthalmology, alongside his ongoing work with exotic animals. He holds a Certificate in Canine and Feline Medicine from the University of Melbourne and is currently working towards a Certificate in Feline Practice through a United Kingdom institution.
