
Dr Teo Boon Han
Dr Teo Boon Han graduated from the Royal Veterinary College. From 2015 to 2020, Dr Teo served in public veterinary practice, holding roles at the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority and subsequently the Animal and Veterinary Service of the National Parks Board, where his portfolio encompassed veterinary licensing, vaccines and biologics, animal feed, and health policy. As a wildlife veterinarian with the National Parks Board, he contributed to conservation work, disease investigation, and vaccination campaigns alongside the treatment of injured wildlife. He has served as honorary secretary of the Singapore Veterinary Association, co-chair of its Veterinary Nurses and Technician Working Group, and secretary of the Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations Veterinary Education Sub-Committee. He currently sits on the Asian Association of Veterinary Schools–FAVA Joint Committee on Veterinary Education and is a board member of VetCompass Singapore. Dr Teo holds a postgraduate diploma in animal nutrition from the University of Glasgow and a postgraduate certificate in veterinary education from the Royal Veterinary College, and is currently completing master's degrees in both disciplines.
